Chemspec Europe 2024 will take place at Messe Düsseldorf in Germany. International flight connections as well as the excellent local infrastructure make the venue easily accessible by plane, car and public transport.

How to reach us

Not sure how to get to the exhibition grounds? We have all the information you need. Once there, please use entrance "Süd / South" to get to hall 3 where Chemspec Europe will take place. 

By Train

As a hub for international train routes, Düsseldorf is connected directly to many European capitals via the rail network.

Visit the Deutsche Bahn website to enquire about connections and book tickets online.

The closest stop for the exhibition grounds is "Messe Ost/Stockumer Kirchstr.", for Düsseldorf central station search for "Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof".

By Car

There are plenty of parking spaces available for visitors. 

By Plane

Düsseldorf Airport is only 3 km from the exhibition centre and has direct links to 200 destinations in 50 countries on four continents.

It only takes around 30 minutes to get to the exhibition centre by bus. For details, please take a look at the section on public transport below.

Taxis are available at the airport and it takes around 10 minutes to the exhibition gorunds.

By Public Transport

You can reach the exhibition grounds quickly and easily via the local transport network. The two major transport hubs in the city are the stops "Hauptbahnhof" (central station) and "Heinrich-Heine-Allee". Nearly all destinations in and around Düsseldorf can be reached from these stations.

For detailed information, including a journey planner, ticket prices and an app, please visit the website of Rheinbahn, the local transport provider.

The stop closest to the entrance for Chemspec Europe is "Messe Ost/Stockumer Kirchstr" or "Messe Süd/Congress Center". Travel time from Düsseldorf central station to the exhibition grounds is about 25 minutes.

Visa Information

We recommend initiating your visa arrangements well in advance to ensure you obtain your visa before the start of the exhibition. Applications can be made as early as six months before the time of travel.

Need an invitation letter? 

The German Foreign Office has informed the German Embassy and Consulate Visa Sections all over the world that, effective 24 July 2013, an official invitation letter from the trade fair organiser is no longer required when applying for a trade fair visa. Furthermore, foreign exhibitors at German trade fairs who present an official exhibitor pass are exempt from the visa fee.
