Valerie Diele-Braun, 46, is the new CEO of the CABB Group and will succeed Peter Vanacker, who is moving on to a position as CEO of the Neste Corporation, Finland.
In her previous role as a member of the executive board of Swiss chemicals manufacturer Archroma, Diele-Braun, was responsible for dynamically developing the business areas of packaging and speciality papers as well as coatings, adhesives and sealants. She was also responsible for business development at a company-wide level.

“We’re delighted to have been able to attract Valerie Diele-Braun as the new CEO of the CABB Group,” explains Roberto Gualdoni, Chairman of the Advisory Board. “Her broad expertise in the chemical industry, her customer-oriented management approach and her significant experience in leading positions at international companies makes her the perfect appointment. On behalf of the Advisory Board, I’d like to thank Peter Vanacker most warmly for further developing the company, both structurally and strategically, over the past almost three and a half years.”
Diele-Braun says: “I’m looking forward to building on our existing solid foundations together with CABB’s successful team and continuing to create lasting value – for the benefit of all stakeholders.”
