Chemspec Europe postponed to November 2020

Mack Brooks Exhibitions has today announced the postponement of Chemspec Europe, the International Exhibition for Fine and Speciality Chemicals. The 35th edition of the event, which was planned to take place at Koelnmesse in Germany from 27 to 28 May 2020, is postponed to 11 – 12 November 2020 following the escalation of COVID-19 in Europe and globally.

Sanofi to Launch new API Producer in Europe

French drugmaker Sanofi plans to create a new company for the production and marketing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) for the pharmaceutical industry. Sanofi said the spin-off would secure significant manufacturing and supply capacities that are critical for patients in Europe and beyond and help balance the industry’s heavy reliance on APIs sourced from Asia.
